Raising funds for the Wisconsin Special Olympics and having fun!

Polar Plunge

winter /ˈwɪntə/

noun

The coldest season of the year, in the northern hemisphere from December to February and in the southern hemisphere from June to August

(Source: OED)

As one may infer from the above quoted definition –and personal experience, if you are from around these parts– regarding the hiemal months, it’s cold. The average temperature here in February is a high of 32 and a low of 15. Now that you have this chilling mental image set up, add in our beloved boss Saul Arteaga getting thrown into a pool of freezing water outside on February 16th.

Saul Arteaga

Do good and dunk him into cold water? Yes, please!

Pretty awesome, right?

Furthermore, it’s for a great cause! He’ll be Freezin’ for a Reason, raising funds for the Wisconsin Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge will be held at Cravath Lakefront Park in Whitewater on February 16th as part of Freeze Fest. All kinds of fun will be had, including food, photos, and frozen people.

Where, you may ask, do I toss handfuls of cash for this special occasion? Follow the link above and search for Saul’s name to donate. He won’t be able to get dunked unless he raises a minimum of $75 but we know that he can raise so much more than that.

You can also stop by the office to contribute.

In summary, donate to help TOSS OUR BOSS! It’ll be cool. Quite literally.
