In February, SWITS participated in the Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF) by serving as the Sponsor for the Deaf and Latino Films, and providing interpreting services to the 2014 Honorary BIFF Chair, Mark Wood.
Saul Arteaga
Director
Saul is the director of SWITS and oversees all staff. He hires interpreters and oversees the American Sign Language Department. Saul is a Spanish Certified Court Interpreter. He is also proficient in American Sign Language. Saul has a BS in Spanish from UW Milwaukee and is currently working on his MA in translation studies.
