The focus of this webinar is to gain an understanding of the basics of jury instructions where you will learn about the reasons for and the history and importance of these instructions along with terminology that is common to your typical jury instructions interpreting assignment. Having a familiarity with these terms and topics will allow you to be prepared for these types of legal assignments and provide you with the resources necessary to develop proper expectations. Topics to be discussed are additional resources, having access to the instructions ahead of time, if the language can be simplified and how to approach a judge if a term is not interpretable without expanding.
