MATI Conference Upcoming, SWITS to Sponsor

The Midwest Association of Translators and Interpreters (MATI) will be hosting its Eighth Annual Conference on September 15, 2012 from 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The conference expects to draw a great number of language professionals, including translators and interpreters from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area and beyond.

Attendees will take advantage of such seminars as “Accounting Practices for Independent Contractors,” an introduction to SDL Trados Studio 2011, and “Healthcare Interpreting Roles for a New Millenium,” as well as information and volunteer opportunities surrounding work in the Wisconsin justice system.
