Gilman Precision Releases French Translation of Spindle Catalog

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE,  GRAFTON, Wis., June 6, 2016 – Gilman Precision is proud to announce the release of a French translation of their spindle catalog.  The company produced the translation in an attempt to meet the French language needs of their Canadian operations.

This project was inspired by Gilman’s attempt to support users around the world in the company’s constant pursuit of customization. Doug Biggs, VP of Sales and Marketing said, “Gilman offers customized slide and spindle manufacturing and repairs, so customizing the catalogs was just the next logical progression. By offering it in French, we are making it easier for our customers to select products in their most comfortable language.”

Gilman partnered with SWITS – Southern Wisconsin Interpreting and Translation Services – to complete this project. The organization caters to an unlimited variety of language needs, and with their Wisconsin location, it was a perfect match. Project Manager, Linda Scaro said, “SWITS is very pleased to have been given this opportunity by Gilman Precision. We’d like to thank the Gilman team for reaching out to us, and we look forward to further collaboration as Gilman continues to customize its documentation and expand into other markets.” Through the combined efforts of Gilman and SWITS, the French translation of the spindle catalog came to fruition with ease.

The new translation can be found on Gilman’s Canadian website, www.gilmanprecision.ca under the resources tab. The English translation will still be available on both the Canadian and American sites.
