Mark Wood, Film Director Meets with WSD Students

In February, SWITS participated in the Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF) by serving as the Sponsor for the Deaf and Latino Films, and providing interpreting services to the 2014 Honorary BIFF Chair, Mark Wood. Wood is the director of ASL Films, and during his stay in the Midwest for the festival, he had the opportunity to speak with students at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf (WSD) about his experience as a professional in the film industry.

Additionally, SWITS provided professional interpreters at the various speaking engagements of Mark Wood. The SWITS interpreters worked diligently to provide the best services possible at the festival.
